Koenigsegg introduced the Agera RS in 2015 as a track-focused, street-legal evolution of the Agera, powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 in a carbon fiber chassis. In 2017 it took the production-car speed record on a closed Nevada highway, averaging both directions to top 277 mph.
