In 1896, Henry Ford created his experimental car in a workshop situated in the backyard of his Detroit home. Subsequently, Ford Motor Company was established and in July 1903, the very first Ford vehicle – the Model A – was built at the Mack Avenue plant. Five years on, in 1908, the acclaimed Model T was introduced to the world.
Ford has had a rich history in the automotive industry for over a century, but the vehicle that launched the brand and the industry is unquestionably the Model T. As times changed, Ford realized the value of variety and began releasing new models (Ford V8, F-Series, Mustang), many of which achieved iconic status for their influence and timelessness.
