Alpine showed the Alpenglow as a rolling laboratory for hydrogen combustion, wrapping a single-seat, Le Mans-prototype-inspired body around an engine that burns hydrogen rather than gasoline. The HY6 version, revealed in 2024, moved from the earlier four-cylinder to a purpose-built V6 for the concept.
