The C10-generation Skyline earned the nickname Hakosuka, from the Japanese for box and Skyline, thanks to its squared-off styling. In GT-R form, powered by a twin-cam inline-six derived from Nissan's racing program, it became a dominant force in Japanese touring car racing.
